What is a Closed User Group (CUG)?

A Closed User Group (CUG) is a group of subscribers who can, for a monthly fee, make free calls and free text messages between themselves on MPT’s wide and reliable national network.

What’s new?

In this timely update to the service, the new number of minimum subscribers now 5, and there is no upper limit to number of users in the group.

How can customers subscribe?

How do customers pay for charges?

For prepaid user, CUG package subscription fee will deduct from main balance and will add subscription fee at invoice for postpaid customer. Advance payment also acceptable for company who doesn’t want to mix with other usage of users.

Is it a one-time registration or monthly registration process?

Register once for the CUG and it will automatically renewed for next month’s service.

Who can use it?

What is the price?

MPT Branded Stores To Open On Saturdays and Sundays

(Yangon, 2 February 2017) – MPT has announced that all of more than 130 MPT branded stores will be open on Saturdays and Sundays so people can now register their SIM cards even at the Weekends.

 

Starting this weekend, 4th February, shops all over the Myanmar will open to the public, and people can have access to the wide range of services offered by MPT stores, including SIM registration. It will be welcome news to people that work hard during the week and perhaps cannot visit their local store in office hours.

MPT Branded Stores offer a variety of support services to MPT customers, such as replacing damaged or lost SIM cards, selling e-top up & physical top up cards, 4G SIM exchange, selling MPT branded mobile phones as well as the expertise and knowledge of MPT staff who can answer any queries customers might have.
