(Yangon, 19^th April 2022)- MPT-KSGM Joint Operations is pleased to announce for the inauguration of Mr. Kazuhiko Masuda as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO), effective from 1^st April 2022. He Joined MPT-KSGM Joint Operations in April 2021 and has been serving as Advisor since then by supporting the outgoing Deputy CEO Dr. Noboru EDAGAWA for the operations of MPT-KSGM Joint Operations. With the aims to provide reliable and high-quality services including CLP (Closet Life Platformer) services, lifeline telecom services and non-telecom services, continuously to the people of Myanmar, the new Deputy CEO, Mr. Kazuhiko Masuda has the strong consumer business background to fulfill the requirements of the MPT’s nationwide customers.

Mr. Kazuhiko Masuda holds a bachelor’s degree of Engineering from the Musashi Institute of Technology and has over 30 years of professional experience in telecommunications and Consumer Business at KDDI Corporation (KDDI) in Japan and held various leadership roles in  Planning, Management and Consumer Business Areas throughout his career.

By taking Deputy CEO position, Mr. Kazuhiko Masuda stressed that “I feel very honored to have this opportunity at MPT-KSGM JO as I believe the provision of reliable and high-quality telecom services to the people of Myanmar together with all our employees and partners are the utmost task I need to continue under current situation. During the ceremony, MPT handed over the “Brand New MG 5 Car” to the first lucky winner U Arkar Myint Aung (Lucky Number 1694) to fulfill his dream under the family sector of “Shwe Eain Mat” campaign. (Yangon, 7^th April 2022) – MPT announced today that in ord​er to improve quality and provide better services, following exchanges were upgraded with the advanced system. Therefore, existing copper cable system will be upgraded to high-speed fiber cable system and fixed wireless system and the changes will be as below.

During transitional period of old numbers to new numbers, MPT will provide free of charge call forwarding services for 3 months, for the conveniences of customers starting from the date that changed. The customers can enjoy “call forwarding services” which is able to call to both existing (old) telephone numbers and (new) changed telephone numbers during the transitional period.
