MPT confirmed that total of four employees with two employees from Lashio in Shan (North) State, one employee from Muse in Shan (North) State and one employee in Yangon Region have tested positive for COVID-19. 

We have already taken proper action such as tracing of the closed contacts people to these infected patients and completed the disinfection in each relative office. From the initial stage of COVID-19 in Myanmar, MPT is continuing all the rigorous precautionary measures protocols to ensure health and safety of all our customers and employees. 
We will continue our efforts to prevent the spread of infection both internally and externally and keep operating the telecommunication service which is the important lifeline of Myanmar people even under this hard situation of COVID-19.
