Auto Telephone Numbers To Be Upgraded
28 Apr 2017(Yangon, 28 April, 2017) – Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), announced today that existing auto telephone numbers are required of migrating to new uniform 7-digit numbers in order to render improved quality and better services. Subscribers at the following exchanges which are already upgraded with advanced exchange system, will have their numbers amended as:
“Saytottara KY-1000 Exchange in Magway Region, Nyaunglebin KY-1000 Exchange in Bago Region and Kyaikto KY-1000 Exchange in Mon State” on May 19th, 2017 and “Other exchanges in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, Ayeyarwaddy Region, Bago Region, Magway Region, Sagaing Region, Tanintharyi Region, Mon State and Rakhine State” on May 31st, 2017.
The new numbers will be as follows:
