CANAL+ and MPT Teamed Up to Offer Easy Access to 9 Live Premium Pay-TV and 2 Free to air Channels on Mobile Devices14 Nov 2019
(Yangon, 14th November 2019) – CANAL+, the No. 1 Pay-TV Provider in Myanmar and MPT, Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunications operator, have announced partnership to benefit all MPT customers providing access to 9 Live Premium Pay-TV and 2 free to air Channels on myCANAL mobile app.
With a special launching price of only 800 Kyats per week, MPT customers will have an opportunity try and test 9 Live Pay-TV and 2 free to air Channels including a variety of Premium CANAL+ Original Production TV Series, Live Sports , Myanmar’s favorites movies, music videos, or entertainment and edutainment programs which are broadcasted with 100% language localization.
Through this unique mobile entertainment app, MPT customers and Myanmar cinema lovers can stream movies and videos on their mobile devices. The premium channels available on this app are CANAL+ ZAT LENN, CANAL+ ACTION, CANAL+ MAE MADI, CANAL+ PUTUTUE, CANAL+ CHATATE, CANAL+SPORTS, CANAL+ SUU SANN, CANAL+ GITA, CANAL+ HA HA as well as MRTV-4 and Channel-7.
MPT customers will be able to enjoy live sports, entertaining new tv shows and classic favorites at an amazing special launching price of just Ks 800 per week until 14th February 2020. Afterwards, a standard rate of 999 Kyats per week will be charged to continue enjoying the app.

Currently, myCANAL mobile app is available to download from Google Play store at https://goo.gl/oncZGP and Apple App store at https://goo.gl/3WRAqN. After downloading the app, users are only required to follow a few easy steps to log in to the app using the MPT Network.
To subscribe the service, MPT customers will need to send SMS “ON” to 8434 or via http://mycanal.canal-plus.com.mm/mpt. Subsequently, by using MPT Mobile Internet, MPT Customers can gain access to the app by selecting “MPT Subscribers” tab within the app to receive a login credentials securely via OTP.
