MPT Announces Innovative New Voting System for “The Voice Myanmar” Starting This Week

(Yangon, 23rd April 2018)- Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the first and leading telecommunications operator in Myanmar, today introduced its new voting system for the competitive second round of the upcoming season of The Voice Myanmar. MPT users can now conveniently vote through the dedicated MPT The Voice Myanmar web portal thevoice.mptvote.com for the upcoming battle rounds. The battle rounds, with 24 high-quality contestants will be starting this week on Sunday, 29 April, and will continue on every following Sunday until 3 June, 2018.

New for 2018, on thevoice.mptvote.com MPT is offering customers two ways to vote for their favourite singers: Pay As You Go (PAYG), or an easy-to-use Voting Packs. Users who choose PAYG are able to vote 3 times per episode. PAYG votes are only 16 Ks each. MPT is very happy to announce the innovative Voting Packs, a new option for reality TV singing competition lovers, who want to support their favourite singers even more. These value packs give customers the opportunity to cast their support as many times as they want. Voting packs can be used throughout the competition season.

Voting is only available via online voting portal powered by MPT at thevoice.mptvote.com which features a helpful tutorial video on how to use online voting platform. With an MPT SIM providing high quality internet access, fans can select their favourite competitors while streaming the show. No data fees will be charged for using the portal. There is no limitation on the number of votes (via voting packs) that can be brought, however, PAYG has a limit of 3 votes per episode.
