(Yangon, 2 February 2017) – MPT has announced that all of more than 130 MPT branded stores will be open on Saturdays and Sundays so people can now register their SIM cards even at the Weekends.
Starting this weekend, 4th February, shops all over the Myanmar will open to the public, and people can have access to the wide range of services offered by MPT stores, including SIM registration. It will be welcome news to people that work hard during the week and perhaps cannot visit their local store in office hours.
MPT Branded Stores offer a variety of support services to MPT customers, such as replacing damaged or lost SIM cards, selling e-top up & physical top up cards, 4G SIM exchange, selling MPT branded mobile phones as well as the expertise and knowledge of MPT staff who can answer any queries customers might have.
Mr. Koichi Kawase, Chief Commercial Officer of MPT-KSGM Joint Operations said “We are glad to be opening on weekends to make it more convenient for those customers that have not yet registered their SIM cards. People can now do so on their weekends, rather than trying to find time during the week. Whether on a weekday or during the weekend, if you come into one of our stores we will be happy to be of service.”
