MPT celebrates Thingyan with their over 19 m subscriber base with a special Thingyan Top Up Bonus

[:en](Yangon, Myanmar, 01 April 2016) – Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the first and leading telecommunications operator in Myanmar is celebrating Thingyan by rewarding customers with a special Thingyan Top Up Bonus promotion lasting five days from 2nd April 2016.

With up to 100% bonuses available to all MPT prepaid GSM/WCDMA/CDMA customers. Those who top up during the promotion period can keep in touch with loved ones across the country during Thingyan, as MPT covers 95% of population coverage; making it the largest 3G network in the country.



However, benefits of the Thingyan Top Up Bonus depend on your top up denomination, the more you top up the more bonus credits you receive. Users just need to top up anytime within the promotional period from 2nd of April to 6th of April to enjoy bonus credits that will last throughout the Thingyan holidays when shops are often closed.

The bonus credits will be valid for use up to the end of 18th April, regardless of the top-up date within the promotion. Credits can be used towards On-net voice calls, On-net SMS and Data. Subscribers will be able to top up through all the normal channels such as top up card, e top up, bank top up, Myanmar MM and through SMS *123* transfer.
