Youth development initiatives are also vital to the further development of football in Myanmar. I truly believe that, through the Festivals, many children across the country will be able to learn basic football skills and develop a greater love for the game”, said Mr. Reizo Umeda, Chief Commercial Officer of MPT-KSGM Joint Operations.

MPT is committed to play an active role in facilitating the growth of the Beautiful Game across the nation, from developing vital skills and facilities to supporting MNL in its efforts to create a youth talent pool for years to come through Grassroots Events, Youth and University-Level football tournaments, under its “Myanmar in Our Heart” initiative.

Moreover, these events provide MFF with excellent opportunities to identify and recruit potential football talents from across Myanmar, potentially increasing the talent pool for national teams at various levels. It is also an opportunity for coaches and trainers to hone their skills, gain experience and share knowledge with their counterparts from other schools and localities, essentially equipping themselves with tools necessary to support future Myanmar Football Stars at the grassroot level.

U Soe Moe Kyaw, CEO of Myanmar National League said, “MFF and MNL are very pleased to be partnering with MPT again for this year’s events where thousands of young players will have an opportunity to showcase their skills and potentially go all the way to represent our National Teams at various levels.
