[:en](Yangon, 30 May 2016) Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the first and leading telecommunications operator in Myanmar, announced today that they will be introducing a range of benefits and winning opportunities to its already popular web portal, LoTaYa. By adding a Coupon and Lucky Draw Program, LoTaYa users will now be able to access discounts, free gifts and even the opportunity to win top-up credits starting from June 01.
Launched back in March 2016, LoTaYa is the first all in one web portal in Myanmar that has been designed with what users want all in one location! Offering customers, a gateway from where they can access the latest news and information for Myanmar and from around the world, the service has been providing users information on the weather, foreign currency exchange rates and other MPT-related Value Added Services (VAS). Now with the addition of the LoTaYa coupon and lucky draw program, customers can save money by redeeming their favorite coupon, at selected shops and restaurants and have the chance to win top-up credits.
A list of coupon providers from restaurants and stores such as YKKO, KFC, Fresh Thai, Potato Break, Hot Pot City, Manhattan, Pezzo, Gong Cha, Golden Park, First Thai Spa, KMD will be held on the LoTaYa page where users can choose their favorite coupon.
After selecting ‘issue’ which will save the coupon for it to be used later, customers will need to complete the ‘customer info’ before the coupon is saved into ‘My coupon list.’ Arriving at the shop, users can simply open the “My Coupon” and select which of their saved coupons to use. However, it is important not to click on the “USE” button, this will be done by the retailer. On completion, LoTaYa customers will receive their discount or free gift, with each coupon available to be used only once per promotion.
As for the Lucky Draw, it is based on a slot machine game. All MPT customers (except for CDMA customers) have possibilities to win the prize. If the medals in the slots are matched, users will receive a bonus top-up. MPT will randomly choose 30 customers every day and the first week (from 1-7th June), MPT will give 1,000Ks to 10 times more customers, so 300 customers will be chosen! To be in with a chance, users just need to press ‘Start’ when playing the LoTaYa Lucky Draw program. If unlucky the first time, users shouldn’t give up as they can try again after 30minutes. However, if a lucky strike is achieved, the reward will be delivered to their bonus balance within 14 days. If winners want to try their luck again, please just wait for the next day.
MPT also have improvement on Lo Ta Ya web portal search box in addition to Coupon and Lucky Draw Program. Previously, when the user search for a word in search box, it has been shown a Google search result. In Lo Ta Ya Phase 2, the user can see the search result of Infotainment which is about Valued Added Services (VAS) and CRBT Service.
