MPT Makes Closed User Group Better for Business

07 Feb 2017

(Yangon, 7 February 2017) – MPT Business has updated and refreshed its practical Closed User Group (CUG) service, with an attractive affordable pricing plan for government, business and corporate customers.

A Closed User Group (CUG) is an expedient facility comprising a group of subscribers who can, for a monthly fee, make free calls and free text messages between themselves on MPT’s wide and reliable national network.

It is available to all MPT users – GSM, WCDMA (prepaid & postpaid) and CDMA (prepaid) – and affords businesses with a range of money saving incentives, whilst improving communication between employees. Dialing contacts outside of the group is charged at normal consumer rates, and customers can still take advantage of individual packages and promotions.

In this timely update to the service, the new number of minimum subscribers now 5, and there is no upper limit to number of users in the group. The monthly fee rate of 3000 Ks is to make keeping in touch with employees and colleagues easier and more flexible.
