Myanmar’s leading telecom operator offers more services for its customers
(Yangon, 4 July 2016) – Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the first and leading telecommunications operator in Myanmar, announced today the introduction of its new MPT Nano SIM card and an informative service guide book, which is now available for customers in all MPT Branded Stores.
MPT leads the way in having secured over 20 million subscribers however, in this new era, the first and longest running telecoms company in the country, promises to provide more innovations, rewards, and promotions for their loyal customers.
Compatible for all types of handsets, the MPT Nano SIM complements the existing micro and regular SIM sizes that are already available to MPT users. Over 240 contacts and 40 SMS texts can be stored in it. MPT customers can easily apply to replace a lost or damaged SIM card with the new Nano SIM.

Also available to pick up in MPT branded stores is the newly published MPT Service Guide Book. Free to MPT customers, the helpful guide book provides information on: Prices, Internet Packages, Internet Settings, Value Added Services, International Services, Tourist SIM Cards, Trouble-shooting for a Lost/ Damage SIM, the Call Center as well as a full list of all MPT branded stores around the country.
To provide a full service and to meet their customer’s needs, MPT has also extended the operational hours at the following Yangon MPT branded stores: Sule, 40th Street, Pansodan and Ahlone from 9:30am to 5:30pm (from Monday to Friday). MPT intends to extend the operational hours of other branded stores in the near future, so that they can maintain their commitment and providing the very best service to its most valued customers.[:]
