
MPT To Host Its Nationwide 9th Blood Donation Event Honoring 99th National Day
08 Nov 2019(Yangon, 8th November 2019) – MPT, Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunication operator to be hosted its public blood donation event on 20th November 2019 to commemorate 99th National Day at the National Blood Center Yangon and it will be simultaneously happened in other 17 regional hospitals nationwide.
This is the 9th edition of blood donation event MPT has been initiated and, thus far, more than 2,475,000 ml of blood were donated during the past eight editions and more than 5,500 blood donors across the country comprising MPT employees and local communities had participated to support the people who need clean and life-saving blood.

Operations said,
“We expect there will be more public participation alongside our employees this time according to increasing numbers of record of past blood donation activities. We will be keeping this initiative together with the public in order to support the emergency victims and patients who rely on limited blood supplies that are crucial for their treatment.”
“Blood is the most precious that everyone can give to other person, it can be said a gift of life. I would like to thank for everyone who participated in the past blood donation events and would like to welcome more donors to save the lives across Myanmar together with us. I hope it can also be the best way to honor our 99th
National Day,” he added.
MPT’s Nationwide Blood Donation events are one of the initiatives of MPT’s efforts working together with the local communities in which long-term commitment to raise public awareness about donating blood to save lives and to use for different medical purposes.
