(A)No. You can’t. You need to register MPT Money with MPT SIM which you request OTP code to purchase insurance service.

(Q)I entered MPT U-Life Page with MPT SIM and made payment with another mobile number.Which phone number will receive promotion rewards?
(A)MPT will deliver promotion rewards to MPT mobile number which you request OTP code.

(Q)How can I make payment with MPT Top up balance?
(A)To make payment with mobile phone balance, please request for OTP and OTP code will be delivered to the phone number which will make payment. Then our system will deduct premium from mobile balance only after you input OTP code.

(Q)”A” receives SMS from MPT and “B” doesn’t receive SMS from MPT. “A” customer shares SMS to “B” customer and can “B” join this promotion?
(A)Yes, “B” can join this promotion if he is MPT SIM user or MPT Money user with non-MPT SIM.

(A)You can check your data bonus in MPT 4U or by dialing *224#.

Service Terms and Conditions

BY USING THE SERVICE, CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS READ, UNDERSTOOD FULLY AND AGREES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THESE SPECIFIC TERMS, AS WELL AS MPT’S GENERAL TERMS AND BINDS HIMSELF/HERSELF TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREIN.
<strong>1. Definitions and Interpretation</strong>

1.1.These Specific Terms and Conditions (the “Specific Terms”) are to be read in conjunction with the latest version of MPT’s General Terms and Conditions stated at https://www.mpt.com.mm/en/general-terms-and-conditions/ (the “General Terms”) which shall form an integral part of these Specific Terms.

1.2.If there is any conflict between the Specific Terms and the General Terms, the provisions of the Specific Terms will supersede the provisions of the General Terms only to the extent of the conflict.

1.3.Capitalized terms contained herein but not specifically defined as follows shall have the same meaning as those set out in the General Terms:

“DCB” is the acronym for Direct Carrier Billing. This is one of the modes whereby the Customer can pay for the Service.

“Service” refers to MPT’s provision of: (a) the Platform wherein the Customer can purchase U-Life Insurance from the Third Party Insurer; and (b) and DCB services wherein MPT facilitates the Customer’s premium payments to the Third Party Insurer for the U-Life Insurance by collecting the payment directly from the Customer and then remitting it to the Third Party Insurer.

“Platform” refers to MPT’s online platform.

“U-Life Insurance” refers to insurance products that is sold by the Third-Party Insurer directly to the Customer.

“Third Party Insurer” refers to GGI Nippon Life- Life Insurance or AYA SOMPO Insurance, as the case may be

<strong>2.Direct Carrier Billing</strong>

2.1.Should the Customer opt to pay the premiums to the Third-Party Insurer by DCB, MPT shall be responsible for the billing and collection of these premium payments. In this regard:

2.1.1.MPT shall deduct the premium amount from the Customer’s account at such times and in such amounts as may be agreed upon between the Customer and the Third-Party Insurer in the relevant insurance contract.

2.1.2.The transaction will not be processed if the Customer does not have enough top-up in his/her account.

2.1.3.Billing disputes shall be handled by the Third-Party Insurer

<strong>3.Customer’s Use of the Platform</strong>

3.1.The Customer’s use of the Platform is subject to the following terms and conditions:

3.1.1.The Customer’s use of the Platform is subject to MPT’s standard data charges.

3.1.2.The Customer needs to have an active MPT SIM card in order to use the Service.

3.1.3.Each Third-Party Insurer only offers one type of insurance product. If the Customer wishes to purchase more than one kind of insurance product, the Customer must separately purchase these insurance products from each Third-Party Insurer using the Platform.

3.1.4.The Customer may purchase various insurance products offered by the Third-Party Insurer.

3.1.5.MPT shall be entitled to disengage, shut down or disconnect the Customer’s access to the Platform based on justified reasons, including, without limitation, in the event MPT detects irregular traffic caused by the Customer’s access to the Platform. Further, upon MPT’s instruction, Customer shall cooperate accordingly and shall immediately investigate the cause of such disengagement, shutdown, disconnection, or such irregular traffic, and remedy the same at no cost to MPT.

<strong>4.MPT’s relationship to the Third-Party Insurer and U-Life Insurance</strong>

4.1.For the avoidance of doubt, each contract of insurance is a contract between the Third-Party Insurer and the Customer. MPT is not a party to nor is it liable for any insurance contract between Third Party Insurer and the Customer. MPT is not acting as an insurance intermediary/broker and is only providing a Platform for the Customer to purchase contracts of insurance from the Third-Party Insurer

<strong>5.Updates to this Specific Terms</strong>

5.1.By using the Service, the Customer is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Specific Terms. These Specific Terms may be updated by MPT from time to time, and MPT may notify the Customer in the event of any update. Unless otherwise prescribed, the Customer’s continued use of the Service following any update to these Specific Terms shall be deemed Customer’s agreement and informed consent to the updated Specific Terms in its entirety.

3) Choose the preferred insurance policy and purchase

<li>Customers can make payment via MPT money or MPT top up balance for purchasing insurance service.</li>
<li>Customers who make payment with MPT money can enjoy 5% e-money bonus for purchasing any kind of insurance service. However, MPT SIM which requested OTP code and MPT SIM which registered MPT Money need to be same.</li>
<li>All MPT users can enjoy fixed data bonus based on MPT Club rank.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>1000 MB data bonus with (7) days validity for Diamond and Platinum level</li>
<li>500 MB data bonus with (7) days validity for Members level</li>
<li>The bonus amount will be decided based on the rank as of your payment day</li>

<li>Reward timing will not be later than 30th December 2020.</li>
<li>You will be notified by SMS after receiving e-money and points bonus.</li>
