MPT’s Brand New Shwe Stream App Excites Data-users with Unlimited Access to Popular Korean Drama Series

(Yangon, 13 March 2018) Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunication operator today revealed a new over-the-top streaming product, Shwe Stream. This new service allows MPT users across the country to discover and enjoy the latest and most anticipated Asian TV shows and movies.

Shwe Stream contains hundreds of on-demand movies and video contents including Korean TV episodes and other variety shows popular among Myanmar viewers. Shwe Stream’s vast library of first-run exclusive shows, award-winning Asian TV series including Korean, Japanese and Thailand content and much more, are offered in both English and Myanmar subtitles for unlimited streaming on demand.

The service is available to MPT customers at an affordable daily subscription rate of only 99 MMK (including Commercial Tax).To encourage a strong uptake of the new service, MPT is offering its customers their first week of the subscription free of charge. Shwe Stream allows customers to access the streaming service on devices, including phones, laptops and tablets for convenient viewing wherever you are.
