Dear MPT Customers,
With regard to the incident on Oct 17th, MPT would like to sincerely apologize for the unexpected service disruption causing inconvenience to our valued customers.
The partial GSM/WCDMA service interruption was triggered by power failure in MPT network which last from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. MPT’s GSM/WCDMA voice and Data services were interrupted in some area.
At 2:16 pm, we had restored some of the connections back and by 4:30pm, MPT’s GSM/WCDMA network was fully restored.
MPT has set up a dedicated task force team to urgently inspect on the incident and will take all the necessary measures/actions to prevent the service disruption through out MPT’s network.
