One More COVID-19 Positive Case Found At MPT Office In Yangon

(Yangon, 21st September 2020)

MPT found that 1 employee at Yangon, MPT Pansodan Office has tested positive for COVID-19. The concerned employee has no direct contact with customers and is now receiving medical attention ​on 21st September 2020.

We have already working closely with the respective COVID-19 Prevention & Control Committee and related authorities,

To identify the employees who have had the close contact with this Employee
To keep house quarantine (21 days) of every staff who worked in the same office
To report/monitor the health condition (temperature and symptom) of close contact employees,
To sanitize the workplace where this Employee was working.

We will take prompt action in accordance with the instructions of MoHS and authorities.

The employees who worked in the same office as this Employee and the close contact employees will be kept at home quarantine for 21 days after the date of last contact, regardless of how long they have been working in the same office.

We have already taken necessary measures following the orders from MoHS authorities such as tracing of the closed contacts people to these infected patients and completed the disinfection to the MPT Pansodan Office.

We will continue our efforts to prevent the spread of infection both internally and externally under the guideline of MoHS and keep operating the telecommunication service which is the important lifeline of Myanmar people even under this hard situation of COVID-19.
