Enjoy more free MPT on-net voice call time with friends and family with the return of “5 Minutes in 1 Hour” promotion

Now available for both Swe Thahar and base tariff users, pay only for the first 5 minutes for on-net voice calls and get up to the next 55 minutes free

 (Yangon, 9 August, 2016) – Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), Myanmar’s first and leading telecommunications operator, today announced the exciting return of the “5 Minutes in 1 Hour” promotion for the second time this year available from 10th August to 30th September 2016.

The promotion is available for all MPT GSM/WCDMA customers to call any MPT number. If they call to any MPT number, then the first 5 minutes of call (needs to be continuous) are charged at the usual rates, and after 5 minutes till 60 minutes it will be free of charge. Phone calls that last beyond 60 minutes will see the usage after those minutes charged back to the normal voice call tariff.

There is no limit to the number of calls a user can make in each day to enjoy the free talk time.
